On August 5, 2009 Mix Master Mike rolled into Chicago and played a free show at the Double Door in Wicker Park.  Wow! What a train wreck.  I will give the man props for working the wheels of steel like few can but holy shit he plays some awful music.  We got there slightly before he went on and caught some even worse music being played by the DJ before him.  I found myself stand there laughing thinking, “well Mix Master should set things straight”.  Oh he did, he confirmed what terrible taste personifies.  Never so happy to leave a show.  Boooooooooooooo!  Oh by the way, here are some pics I thought I’d include since I went.
