This post features video and photos submitted to us from a few of our visitors.  We are told all the footage was taken at “The Building” near the Chicago River and I-55/Damen intersection on the near south side. The material was submitted in the late summer of 2009.  After some editing we are pleased to show you a unique look into one of Chicago’s infamous abandoned buildings. As one can see, the building has a defined layer of danger, decay and beauty wrapped into one.  The kind folks that submitted this material tell us they went about two thirds the way up and stayed contained to the part of the building with the auction banner hanging on it.  We’d also like to thank the Chicago band, Ratattack, for allowing us to use there song, “Feels Like Danger”.  We hope you all enjoy!
